British Columbia Herbal Association Operations Manager Job Description

The BCHA Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the organization.  This position is the central contact for the organization. 

The operations manager is responsible for:

    • Managing and responding to emails in the BCHA Microsoft account.
    • Record keeping and file management on BCHA Google drive.
    • Managing renewals of software accounts.
    • Paying vendor invoices.
    • Creating and updating BCHA documents, as guided by the Board of Directors.
    • Website updates and maintenance (BCHA website is hosted on Wild Apricot).
    • Coordinating monthly board meetings via zoom, gathering updates from subcommittees, preparing agenda, takes minutes.
    • Preparing newsletter and board email updates to members.
    • Processing new membership applications and coordinating with board members for review and approval of applications.
    • Processing annual membership renewals.
    • Planning and coordinating the AGM.
    • Assisting with other board initiatives and projects as needed.
    • Some duties may change as the needs of the association evolve, to support further growth of the association and the profession of herbal medicine.

25 hours/month

$20/hour

Work completed remotely via computer and zoom.
